constança lucas Constança Lucas nasceu em Coimbra, em 1960 e cursou até o colegial em Portugal. Passou a viver em São Paulo no fim da década de setenta, onde fez Licenciatura Plena em Artes Plásticas na FAAP - Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado e Pós-Graduação em Artes na ECA - Escola de Comunicações e Artes da Universidade de São Paulo - USP. Fez também diversos cursos de artes plásticas, literatura, fotografia e de história da arte, em museus e instituições culturais. Viveu em Lisboa de 1988 a 1992, onde realizou algumas exposições de pintura e desenho, coletivas e individuais. Também desenvolveu a pintura em azulejos e trabalhos na área de artes gráficas. Tem participado de várias exposições coletivas desde o início da década de oitenta em diferentes países (Portugal, Espanha, Bélgica, Checoslováquia, França, Hungria, Itália, Japão, Argentina, Alemanha, Austrália e Brasil). Realizou diversas exposições individuais em Portugal e no Brasil. É autora de inúmeros desenhos publicados em jornais, revistas e livros. Atualmente, vive e trabalha em São Paulo. Desenvolve o seu trabalho em pintura, desenho, gravura, aguarela e infografia. Constança Lucas was born in Coimbra, in 1960 and studied up to high school in Portugal. Moved to São Paulo at the end of the 70´s, where she graduated in Plastic Arts at the Armando Álvares Penteado Foundation and had a post graduation in Arts at the Communications and Arts School- ECA of the University of São Paulo-USP. She has taken several courses related to plastic arts, literature, photography and history of the art, at museums and cultural institutions. Lived in Lisbon from 1988 to 1992, where she participated in a few painting and drawing expositions, individually or with other artists. She also works with tile painting and projects in graphic arts. She took part in various collective expositions since the beginning of the 80´s in several countries (Portugal, Spain, Belgium, the former Checoslovaquia, France, Hungary, Italy, Japan, Argentine, Germany, Australia and Brazil). She had several individual expositions of her artistic creations in Portugal and in Brazil. She is author of innumerable drawings published in newspapers, magazines and books.
