[...] a scene from the tale of the Princess Swan. The scene is almost as unique as the style that Strunin uses in its depiction. This scene shows the three merchants that travel by Prince Gvidon's land and tell of the wonders that it holds to Tsar Saltan. Each time the merchants leave, the Princess Swan, also known as the Magic Princess, turns Prince Gvidon into a fly, or a bee, so he can secretly travel with the sailors back to his father's land. It is in this way that he learns of his father's plans to seek out other mysteries before visiting Prince Gvidon's kingdom.
